Send in your nominations for the Talis Awards

talis

We are excited to bring the Talis Awards this year to Talis Insight UK 2015. We have teamed up with Richard Cross from Nottingham Trent University, representing the Talis Aspire User Group, to make this happen.

As per Richard’s email to the LIS-TALIS-ASPIRE mailing list, we are inviting awards under two categories. Here is an excerpt from his email:

The Innovation Award: to recognise any technology or process that is unique or new (at least within the context of institution, department or school). Examples could include: new technology services; tailored integration with mobile or VLE; or leveraging Aspire data to inform service decisions or developments.

The Creativity Award: to recognise an original idea or inventive approach to an existing processes or technology which improved outcomes. Examples could include: creating a webinar series as part of an academic adoption campaign; delivering support and training information in unusual ways; an exemplar branding of an Aspire interface.

Proposals can be submitted online using this simple form:

The deadline for submissions for both award categories is: Wednesday 18 March 2015.

Don’t be modest or shy! Customers of TADC and TARL are using both applications in any number of creative and innovative ways out there, and it is to the benefit of the entire customer community to see ‘best practices’ shared, acknowledged and (in a small way) celebrated. What work could you put forward for recognition?

The awards will be judged and awarded by a panel consisting of members from the Talis Aspire User Group.

So get your nominations in! We are looking forward to seeing your entries.
