Copyright Specialists Tania Rowlett and Rob Melocha from the University of Leicester ran a webinar to explain how they grew their digitisation process over the past 10 years to where it is now. They talked us through the history of copyright clearance at the University of Leicester, progressing from one member of staff and one scanner to becoming one of the top users of Talis Aspire Digitised Content in the UK with a whole team of staff.


Talis will be at ASCILITE 2016!

John and Rebecca from Talis will be at the upcoming ASCILITE 2016: 33rd International Conference on Innovation, Practice and Research in the Use of Educational Technologies in Tertiary Education. The event is taking place on the 28th – 30th November in Adelaide.


The University of Worcester implemented a university policy that all lists should be maintained and created within their Resource Lists environment, leaving paper copies behind. They decided to run a survey after seeing that nearly 50% of lists were still in draft at the beginning of this semester to find out what the academics thought about Talis Aspire Reading Lists and Talis Aspire Digitised Content.
