Automatic Profile Completion

If you have ever wanted to enforce that a user’s name and email was consistent across the University campus, then this is for you.

Your authentication system can now release attributes that tell Talis Aspire Reading Lists the first name, surname and Email address of a user, which will be updated from your IDP on every login. You can also tell us what ‘job role’ that user has and we’ll use that value on account creation to help distinguish between staff and student roles for reporting purposes.

For full information on how this works and what you need to do to get it setup, please see this article on our support site.
