Over the past 12 months we’ve been working on pilot projects for Talis Elevate with academics around the UK. We spoke to academics at the University of Lincoln and Anglia Ruskin University to hear what they thought of Talis Elevate and how they have been using it with their students. Watch the videos below.

Dr Jamie Wood is the Principal Lecturer in History in the School of History and Heritage and School Director of Learning and Teaching at the University of Lincoln. In this video he explains how he has used class discussion to inform seminar activity, and builds assessed activity into weekly reading using Talis Elevate, and how they have reacted to it. He explains the key differences he has noticed in his students as a result.

Dr Claudia Wascher is Senior Lecturer in Animal Behaviour at Anglia Ruskin University. Claudia’s focus when using Talis Elevate was the analytics that were available, to see how students were interacting with various resources that had been uploaded and to understand how the students were using them.

Jasper Shotts is Dean of Lincoln Academy of Learning & Teaching at the University of Lincoln. He has a keen interest in exploring new technologies that can enhance Learning & Teaching. In this video, he talks about the ways in which Talis Elevate can effectively be used to evaluate the way in which students learn.
