Talis Insight Europe 2019

Talis Insight Europe 2019 takes place on the 30th April and 1st May – will you be there? Here’s what to expect…

Agenda

We’ve announced even more sessions, including our keynotes!

We will kick off the conference with keynote: ‘Digital Transformations at The University of Lincoln’, from Andy Beggan, Dean of Digital Learning.

Our closing keynote comes from Ale Armellini, Dean of Learning and Teaching at the University of Northampton. He will be discussing Active Blended Learning as Northampton’s new normal, and how they put learning at the forefront of everything.

We have confirmed student speakers for our “Diversity in the curriculum” session from the University of Kent. Evangeline Agyeman and Collins Konadu-Mensah, Diversity Mark Officers at the University of Kent will be presenting their take on the project.

We will be hearing an introduction to Talis Elevate from Learning Technologies Lead at Talis, Matt East and a session from a pilot user, Jamie Wood from the University of Lincoln.

You can see the full agenda, including session synopses at talis.com/insight.

Networking

Over the two days, there will be plenty of opportunities for networking with peers from over 80 institutions from across the UK and Europe. On day one, there are dedicated networking sessions so you can discuss the topics most important to you with other attendees, the Talis Team and our Talis Aspire User Group representatives. We will be announcing these sessions soon, so watch this space!

Awards

In the evening of Day 1, we host the Talis Awards, an opportunity for us to celebrate success within our global community over the past 12 months.

We will be awarding 5 awards, for universities that have shown ‘Excellence in Marketing and Engaging Academics’, universities that have shown ‘Excellence in Implementation and Management’. We will also be awarding a ‘University of the Year’, for a university that has shown all-round dedication and excellence in the use of Talis Aspire.

This year we will be adding a new award, the ‘Talis Advocate of the Year’ to highlight the achievements of one special person in our user community.

Our Talis Aspire User Group award is nominated and voted for by our user community and celebrates creativity in using Talis Aspire. If you’d like to nominate yourself and your team, email insight@talis.com with your submission of 250 words by 15th March.
