press release

Regent’s University London has selected Talis Aspire to manage the university’s reading lists. After winning an award for Customer Service Excellence in 2017, the university was keen to maintain focus on student experience, ensuring the smoothest possible process for students when accessing resources.

Talis Aspire will be integrated with their Library Management System, ISOxford Heritage and with their  Virtual Learning Environment, Blackboard.

“The library was awarded Customer Service Excellence standards in 2017 and recently passed the annual review. As part of the wider University initiative on student experience and NSS results the library services wanted to improve all aspects of accessing and updating module reading lists. With this in mind Talis Aspire was the obvious choice.” said Anne Rowlands, University Librarian at Regent’s University London.

Anne added, “The library wanted to be able to obtain, update and manage reading lists from all courses that are delivered at the university and to improve the liaison between academics and library staff. As good customer service the library team also wanted to make sure that reading list texts were available from the library.”

David Errington, CEO of Talis said, “We are pleased to announce that Regent’s University London will be joining the Talis Aspire community. We are proud to be working with a university so focused on improving student experience, and look forward to working with them to achieve their goals in this area.”

Regent’s University London is an independent and not-for-profit university with a student population representing 140 nationalities and delivers courses at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
