Reading list workflows at the University of Roehampton

Natalie Naik
case study

Laura from the Services Team held a webinar last week with Emily Selvidge, Subject Librarian at the University of Roehampton, to discuss their reading list workflows. Find out more and watch the recording from the webinar below…

Laura said, “The University of Roehampton have been using Talis Aspire since 2011 but as with many universities the library wanted to spend time reviewing their processes and workflows. This project focused around reading lists and looking at the existing workflows and making suggestions for future changes.”

Emily joined us to talk through this project, explaining how they had approached it and how they shaped their research and managed the results. During the webinar, she shares what she has learnt and gives advice to those about to start their own projects.

Talis have also created Reading List workflows for you to use, or to help you shape your own, you can check out the workflows we have created using tool draw.io here. We will be adding more as we complete them, so watch this space.

If you have spent time reviewing your processes and would like to share with the wider community or would like some help in doing so via a Business Process Review, please do get in touch with the Services Team to discuss further.
