Stephen Vickers from IMS Global, an organisation that looks at educational standards across all aspects of technical activity across universities, kicked off presentations in this track on Day One. He spoke about ‘Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) – Why the big deal?’, explaining what LTI is, how you are able to do it and the benefits of integration.

Ann-Marie James from the University of Birmingham joined us to talk through their success with LTI. The presentation, ‘Putting Reading Lists at the heart of the student learning experience at the University of Birmingham’ is about how they were able to integrate Reading Lists with their VLE, Canvas. Ann-Marie discussed what they did, how and what they learnt from the process.
