Reading list of the week

Our Reading List of the Week is Design Directions from Falmouth University. This list is broken up by lectures as well as a couple of sections containing useful links and general reading for students.

Many of the sections represent different lectures such as ‘EDUCATION AND CHANGE Lecture 3rd March’ and ‘GLOBALISATION Lecture 10th March’. These are sometimes broken up into smaller sections by ‘further reading and resources’ or ‘general reading’.

The academic has used the list to not only link to content, but to also deliver information to the students, such as information and context on the items, discussion questions to consider alongside the items, as well as advice on how to prepare for the upcoming lecture.

The list was created a year ago, for semester two of the 2015-16 course year, the module has an anticipated 120 students and in the past year has had 919 page views and 476 clicks. Alongside the many bookmarked items on the list, there are interwoven links in the notes and guidance. Although these aren’t tracked in the dashboard, they do bring the list to life guiding the students through the many references.
