Talis will be at the SCONUL Measuring excellence conference!

We’re excited to attend the SCONUL one-day conference Measuring excellence: Meeting the challenges of proposed changes to sector on the 29th of April.
This one-day conference anticipates the far-reaching changes to the HE sector first proposed in November, including the Teaching Excellence Framework. Keynote speakers will look broadly at what changes are likely to occur, and the impact those changes will have on Higher Education. A range of leaders in the sector will debate how excellence, both in research and teaching, will be measured.
We look forward to hearing more about how the role of librarians may change within institutions and hearing views from the Higher Education community on the TEF technical consultation.
The keynote will be given by Philip Lomas, Policy Team Leader from HE Student Experience, Department for Business, Innovation & Skills, followed by a debate moderated by John Gill, Editor of the Times Higher Education. You can see the full agenda here.
Ian Corns and Paul Dibble will be attending from Talis, come over to the Talis stand to say hi, or if you’d like a longer chat, send them an email.
