Talis Insight Asia-Pacific 2016 Speaker Series: Robert Gerrity, upcoming challenges for university libraries

Robert Gerrity, University Librarian at the University of Queensland will be presenting at Day One of Talis Insight Asia-Pacific 2016. The event will be taking place in Melbourne, Australia on the 4th and 5th of February 2016. Robert’s talk, ‘Library 2020’ will cover the key challenges and opportunities university libraries may face in the coming years.

His presentation will provide an overview of some of the significant recent events, developments and trends affecting higher education in general and university libraries in particular. He will also cover vendor/publisher consolidation, open access and open education, emerging technologies and innovation, and organisational capacity.

Talis Insight is a free two-day event, this year the Asia-Pacific event will be held at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia on the 4th and 5th of February.
