eTextbooks are a hot topic in UK Higher Education at the moment. A number of major initiatives are in progress as Universities across the UK, to explore the value and benefits of provision of core eTextbooks for students as part of their course fees. At Talis Insight 2015, we invited four institutions who are leading the way with this project. Matthew Lawson and Paul Howell joined us from Middlesex University. They were followed by Cathy Walsh from University of East London. Phil Gee then spoke about the eTextbooks initiative he is pioneering at Plymouth University. And Phil Vaughn from Coventry University spoke about the ‘No Hidden Costs’ initiative at his institution.
