David White will be kicking things off for us on Day One at Talis Insight 2015. In addition to his role as Head of Teachnology Enhanced Learning at the University of the Arts London, he is also widely known for “visitors and residents“. I recently requested David, if we would share a title and synopsis for his session at Talis Insight 2015. He is what he shared:
Learning and teaching in the Post-digital era
The digital has ‘disappeared into use’, it’s now simply part of the fabric of how live, learn and work – this is what it means to be Post-digital. Yet the technologies we were promised would transform, disrupt and revolutionise learning and teaching appear to have been become normalised within classic institutional paradigms. The digital is embedded but the thinking is the same as it ever was. How can we continue to challenge students attitude towards the role the digital can play in their studies and make visible the potential new ways of learning the digital offers?
