Press Release: Talis CEO to speak at ALT-C 2012
The CEO of Talis Group Ltd, Dave Errington, has been selected to speak at the Association for Learning Technology (ALT) annual conference in Manchester.
The conference, now in its 19th year, is established as the UK’s main conference for learning technologists and is one the the largest of its kind. Held over three days every September, it provides a forum for practitioners, researchers, managers and policy-makers from education and industry to: ‘ … solve problems, explore, reflect, influence and learn.’
Mr Errington will be presenting a short paper: Building an Education Graph in the Linked Data Age. He’ll be demonstrating how the Talis Aspire reading-list application uses data linking and warehousing processes to build an ‘education graph’ – giving a unique insight into how learning resources are used across UK universities.
